Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest release Bharat Ane Nenu is running with packed houses all over after its release on April 20th. Mahesh’s energetic performance and the social theme penned by Koratala Siva have been getting huge applause from audience.
The film collected solid revenues on its first two days and it is holding well on Sunday as well. Instead of enjoying the film’s success, the publicity team and fans of Mahesh Babu are indulging in spreading fake records in social media.
Bharat Ane Nenu notched up around 70 Crores gross worldwide on its first two days which is a very solid number given than Mahesh Babu’s last two films tanked heavily at box office.
Rather than relishing this timely success, Mahesh Babu fans are worrying about fake box office figures. The makers have released a poster claiming that the film collected 100 Crores gross in just two which is far from reality. True that the film is enroute emerging as the biggest grosser of Mahesh Babu’s career. But, in an attempt to exaggerate the success, the publicity team is resorting to fake numbers and promoting it as fastest film to collect 100 Crores.
This is not the first time Mahesh Babu’s team projected such inflated numbers for his films and it is inviting criticism from trade circles and common audience.
