Bhanu Sri is one among 16 contestants participating in Bigg Boss season 2 Telugu. Even though she joined the show in celebrity category, many people could not identify who she is as she didn’t have break yet in Telugu film industry
- She made her debut into TV industry through Jabilamma TV serial that was telecast in Gemini TV. She used to say even after entering film industry, people recognize her as Jabilamma serial actress.
- She was seen dancing with Ali in TSR-TV9 programs
- Later she entered into Film Industry and acted in films like – “Iddari madhya 18”, “Kumari 21f”, “Lachindeviki O Lekkundi” and Bahubali movies.
- In Bahubali movie, she acted as Tamanna friend. she also acted as dupe for Tamanna in some action sequences.
- She is from Telangana and from a middle class family.
- She is also known with names like Bhanu Tripathi and Swapna.
