The star attraction of Bigg Boss Tamil Oviya Helen seems to have lost in recent episodes after she reportedly jumped into a pool which is now being seen as a suicide attempt. The Malayalam actress claimed that she was unwell to continue on the show due to emotional trauma inflicted by the happenings in the house. She reportedly could not contain her feelings for fellow contestant Aarav. The housemates reportedly pulled her out of the water when she jumped into the pool. The 26-year-old declared that she wanted professional help and was subsequently let out after staying in the house for 41days.

Host Kamal Hassan invited her to speak before the official exit, wherein she said that her responsibility has increased towards her fans, also known as Oviya Army, for all the love they showered on her.

Following the development, an advocate filed complaint with the police commissioner stating that Oviya had suffered depression due to the rules and tasks in the Bigg Boss house. He requested an inquiry into the incident.

However, the makers of the show dodged the reports related to the incident. The Tamil reality show being aired on Vijay TV has been surrounded with controversies ever since it took off.
