In an unexpected development at the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 house, contestant Gangavva is reportedly set to leave the show earlier than the usual elimination schedule. Sources confirm there is a chance for her exit before the regular elimination day, marking a significant change in the show’s routine format.
The eighth week’s elimination process is being restructured to accommodate this sudden change, with the elimination episode now scheduled for Friday, October 25, instead of the traditional Sunday slot. This adjustment comes as the show prepares for its special Diwali episode.
Behind this unusual schedule change lies a compelling reason. Forest department officials have recently filed a case against Gangavva, stemming from a complaint by animal welfare activist Adulapuram Gautam. The case involves a controversial video titled “Gangavva Chiluka Panchagam,” which was uploaded on May 20, 2022. In this video, Gangavva and YouTuber Raju allegedly used a parrot for astrological predictions, an act that violates wildlife protection laws.
The show’s production team has adapted their schedule accordingly. The elimination shooting will now take place on Friday, October 25, while the Diwali special episode will be filmed on Saturday, October 26. Viewers can expect to watch the elimination episode on Saturday, followed by the festive Diwali special on Sunday.
Currently, six contestants face nomination this week: Nikhil, Pruthvi, Vishnupriya, Prerana, Nainika Pavani, and Mehboob. However, industry insiders suggest that these nominated contestants might be spared from elimination if Gangavva exits voluntarily.
The current legal situation has created quite a stir, especially since YouTuber Raju has already been arrested in connection with the same case.
