Big Boss 2 Telugu show hosted by Nani is going on unpredictable lines. Recent TRP ratings proved that Big Boss show redeemed its TRPs and garnering huge attention from audience. Nani told that almost 11. 7 crore votes have been polled for this reentry. That means it is almost closer to the votes polled for Bigg Boss 1 Telugu final episode that got 11. 95 crore votes. So Big Boss 2 final episode might get even more votes than what Big Boss 1 final episode got. However there has been discussion now that whether Big Boss show is going in right direction or not especially after the wild card entry and reentry of to house mates yesterday.
How is Pooja Ramachandran as Wild card?
Couple of weeks back we wrote an article discussing the need of wild card entry into the house. (https://www.telugu360.com/bigg-boss-telugu-2-needs-wild-card/). In that article, it was discussed that the wild card entry should be given to a person who can entertain the audience as well as cheer the housemates. However Pooja Ramachandran who entered the house as wild card seems to be struggling hard to speak one single line in Telugu. Even though she is able to understand Telugu, she cannot talk one full line in Telugu. People wonder whether makers of Big Boss could not get any person who can speak in Telugu for Bigg Boss Telugu show. Even though she is trying her level best to do well in the show, the value added by her to the show is nowhere compared to the wild card entry in Bigg Boss 1 in the form of Navdeep. There has been enough glamour already in the house. So audience are not sure why this actress, who acted in films like Swami Ra Ra and Krishnarjuna Yuddham is selected by the makers of Bigg Boss for Telugu show.
Nutan Naidu and Syamala’s re-entry:
Yesterday Nutan Naidu and Shyamala entered the house again. Telugu 360 has reported even before the telecast of the episode that these two will be entering into the house (https://www.telugu360.com/nutan-naidu-and-shyamala-to-re-enter-bigg-boss-house/). However it actually surprised many. In Bigg Boss 1 ,weak candidates were evicted from the house first and by the time of final episodes whoever remained in the show were all very strong candidates. Diksha Panth who entered the house as wild card entry was exception for this. However in Bigg Boss-2 show, the weak candidates are continuing in the show while strong candidates are getting evicted from the house. Nutan Naidu was eliminated in the second week itself and Shyamala in the third week. Here, the candidates are seen as weak candidate or strong candidate based on 3 parameters. Strong candidate means, one, they are active in the tasks there doing in the house OR two, they are offering high entertainment value to the housemates and audience OR three, they take a firm stand and confront the conflict arising in the house in various situations. If these three parameters are considered to determine a candidate is either strong or weak obviously the ones who are staying in the house currently like Ganesh, Deepthi Sunaina, and Nandini are definitely weak candidates compared to the ones who were eliminated like Bhanushree and Tejaswini. So by continuing weak candidates at the cost of strong candidates is not going well with audience.
Correcting a mistake at later point of time may not make it a correct decision
When Nutan Naidu was evicted from the house there was criticism in the media as well as social media that Big Boss makers are eliminating common man from the house to help celebrities stay in the house. When Shyamala was evicted from the house there was another criticism that she was not evicted by the votes polled by audience but by another housemates decision (https://www.telugu360.com/viewers-choices-takes-a-toll-in-bigg-boss-telugu-2/). even though these two are wrong decisions at that time now making them re-enter may not be justifiable now.
Even though the show is getting good TRPs, couple of wrong decisions that put the show on wrong track may hamper the prospects of the show in future. The decision of bringing back evicted people, evicting strong contestants and continuing weak contestants and then scolding them for being passive, going purely by twitter comments etc all are definitely bad decisions. Hope the makers realize this soon else it is not too far when the redeemed TRPs will disappear in a moment.
