Baahubali 2 in Bollywood

When the first part of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali released in Hindi, very few expected that the film will turn out to be a huge blockbuster in the Northern states. While release through Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions gave a solid hype, the appealing content turned the film into a money spinner. The Hindi version alone collected more than 100 Crores share and surprised the trade circles big time.

Now, the makers are planning a wider release in Hindi for the much awaited Conclusion. As there are humongous expectations in the Northern territories, the follow-up of this magnum opus will have a solid screen count for the Hindi version. Dharma Productions has once again acquired the theatrical rights of the Hindi version and they are planning to release the film in more than double the number of screens as compared to the first part.

Set for an April 28 release, Baahubali 2 will have no competition at the box office as no Bollywood biggie is slated to release in that season. This has prompted the makers to set big plans for the film’s release.

The shooting of Baahubali 2 is on the verge of completion and the post production activities are in full swing at present.
