The BJP has begun effectively defending the TDP MPs merger. Anti-BJP leaders are commenting bitterly against the issue across the country. Now BJP State Vice President S Vishnuvardhan Reddy asked whether the 4 TDP MPs have become tainted only after joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. Why is there so much hue and cry over the issue when everything went as per the law?
Vishnuvardhan Reddy asserted that the merger was totally constitutional and there was nothing amiss. He pointed out that there were only allegations and enquiries of irregularities against Sujana Chowdary and CM Ramesh but there were no cases. The rival parties are making mountains out of molehills. Reddy asked how could Chandrababu Naidu joined 23 defected MLAs into his party from the YCP. Didn’t Naidu rub shoulders with the scam-tainted leaders of the UPA?
