PM Modi sharply reacted to the opposition parties unity meet held in Kolkata. He says all the opposition parties are making alliances between themselves but it is the BJP alone which will tie up only with the people. He hit back at West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and scores of other national level leaders who took part in the anti-BJP meeting.
Modi says all the opposition leaders are desperately coming together to defeat his government just because they want protection for their illegally amassed wealth. While the BJP depends on its people’s strength, the rival parties are relying on the power of money which will not be accepted by the voters, said Modi.
Rival leaders have turned their Kolkata meet into a show of strength which was aimed at giving strong signals that Modi is their only enemy in the coming election. Some leaders have even said the general election is a decisive battle this time as it would mean a new liberation for the people from the unprincipled and crippling rule of BJP. The rival leaders have got a new strength with BJP leaders like Shatrughan Sinha taking part in Mamata rally in Kolkata.
