The entire spotlight continues to be on Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan. All the party activities are centred around him and his changing decisions from time to time. This has reduced scope considerably for second-rung leaders to perform and enhance the party image in the public. Following this, many mandal level and village leaders are looking towards other parties. In Anakapalli MP seat, some of them have joined the BJP recently.
Now, Jana Sena defeated MP candidate Chintala Parthasarathi has also resigned giving a rude shock to Senani. Only recently, Pawan has given good recognition to Parthasarathi in appointment of state level committees. Parthasarathi is made chairman of the committee to monitor government programmes and their implementation.
The exit of Parthasarathi is considered a big loss to Jana Sena in Anakapalli area. The BJP leaders have made calculated plans to win him over to their party. It is almost certain Parthasarathy will also join the saffron brigade. This is being seen in political circles as a big achievement by BJP. The dissatisfaction among Jana Sena leaders has come as an advantage for BJP. Interestingly, BJP is becoming an immediate choice for such leaders.
