BJP Telangana State President K. Laxman is making every effort to convince the Telangana voters that their party will not have any tie-up with any party in coming December elections.
He has to do this repeatedly because of the continuous, no-holds-barred campaign by rival TDP and Congress leaders who have nearly convinced voters about the so-called secret deal between KCR and BJP which is why the Centre is very friendly and generous to KCR government.
Further reinforcing his statements, Laxman has asserted that BJP will contest all 119 the assembly segments and it will field such strong candidates who will give tough fight to rivals.
On his part, KCR has already announced list of candidates for 105 constituencies already and he is going to release names for remaining 14 segments soon.
There have been rumours that BJP leadership has decided not to field strong candidates from among available aspirants as part of its secret understanding with TRS while TRS will do the same in return.
But during his meetings, Laxman is trying hard to counter this opposition campaign, saying TRS is using wrong methods to threaten BJP aspirants and that BJP will not care about ruling party’s threats.
Laxman has also said TRS and other rivals are scared of Modi and Shah, whose election meetings in coming days will change the final verdict of voters in BJP’s favour in December poll.
Laxman’s anxiety to dispel rumours on secret deal is understandable. Especially, when BJP-TRS deal is such an open secret among peoples of Telugu states.
