Considering the pan-India stardom Prabhas has achieved with ‘Baahubali’, makers of his upcoming film ‘Saaho’ seems to be leaving no stone unturned in order to make the action adventure catering to audiences across the nation. The best way to do is by roping in Bollywood actors who have pan-India presence.
Latest reports suggest that Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has been roped in to play the villain role in Saaho. It is a masterstroke from makers as the presence of Mukesh as antagonist will surely raise the film’s prospects among North audiences. He has become a noted face to South audiences as well after essaying the negative role in AR Murugadoss-Vijay’s ‘Katthi’. His stylish villainy in that film was well received.
Moreover, Baahubali has proved that a film will attract audiences’ attention if the antagonist is on par with the hero. Neil can be a perfect nemesis to Prabhas given his stylish looks, physique and image. His character will have equal importance to Prabhas’.
Coming to the film’s leading lady, the likes of Bollywood hotties Shraddha Kapoor and Disha Patani were approached but their astronomical demands forced the makers to look for some established face in South. Pooja Hegde is currently the frontrunner to bag this crazy project.
To be made in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil, Saaho will be shot across Mumbai, US, Abudabi and Europe.
