It is not uncommon for hit films of one industry to be remade in another industry. Many Telugu films have been remade in Bollywood and vice versa. Now, the latest movie that has caught the eye of Tollywood is the film ‘Kapoor and Sons’.
The movie has apparently created a lot of interest in the Daggubati and Akkineni families. Suresh Babu in particular is said to be quite keen about casting Rana Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in this movie and if Venkatesh manages to step in for Rishi Kapoor’s role, it will be a perfect cast.
As of now,this is still in a planning stage and it may take a while for the deal to go forward, if at all. Suresh Babu’s idea has merit and the casting seems perfect.
Let us hope this project sees light of day in Telugu.
