After proving his mettle as a writer, Koratala Siva turned director and scored three massive hits in no time which made his place prominent in the list of top Tollywood directors. During a recent interview, he revealed the drift with Boyapati Srinu during Simha. Koratala Siva revealed that he penned the script for Simha however he has not been given the credits. However Boyapati stayed calm without reacting much about Koratala Siva’s comments.Here is what exactly happened:
Boyapati Srinu came up with the story line of Simha and he planned to pen it with a team of writers in which Koratala Siva was one among them. Koratala Siva wanted the credits for the film which Boyapati did not accept as the basic plot has been penned by him and many others contributed for the script. An angry Koratala walked out of the project after working for a month. He demanded Rs 7 lakhs as remuneration for his work after which Boyapati Srinu paid four cheques of Rs 1.5 lakhs each.
The total remuneration of Koratala Siva has been given and the drift between the duo continued. It was then NTR gave the opportunity to Koratala Siva for Brundavanam as a writer. It was after that Koratala turned director with Mirchi.
