The market for Telugu films in overseas saw a phenomenal growth in the last two years. Producers have been getting solid offers from overseas trade circles. Two upcoming medium budget films have struck a bumper deal in the form of overseas rights.
Sharwanand’s upcoming film Mahanubhavudu in Maruthi’s direction has been snapped by a noted overseas distributor for 3.25 Crores. This is the biggest ever price in Sharwanand’s career. The film is tipped to be a comedy caper with Maruthi’s trademark elements. UV Creations banner is producing the film.
Energetic star Ram’s next film with Nenu Shailaja fame Kishore Tirumala, too, got a sensational deal in overseas. Reportedly, the overseas rights of the film have been bagged for 3.25 Crores by a reputed distribution house in US. This is an exorbitant amount considering Ram’s market in overseas. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is the producer.
