Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya was the first film to officially announce its release date as April 27,2018. While everything seemed to be on track for a grand Summer release for Naa Peru Surya, Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu producer DVV Danayya locked the same date and made an announcement out of the blue. This has irked Bunny Vas, producer of Naa Peru Surya.
As talks between NPS and BAN producers are still going on to reach an understanding, the makers of Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film, 2.0 have shocked everyone by releasing an official statement regarding the film’s release date. They announced that 2.0 will have a grand release worldwide in April 2018. Close sources revealed that 2.0 is likely to hit the screens on April 27th.
Unhappy with this announcement, Bunny Vas has decided to take the issue to producer’s council and exhibitors association of Tollywood to sort out the issue. He took to social media and said that they respect Rajinikanth’s film, but the frequent change in the release dates is impacting the release plans of other regional films. So, he wants council’s intervention to avert the clash on April 27.
We have to wait and see who finally budges on and which film will releases on April 27, 2018.
