As per the announcements, Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, Ravi Teja’s Eagle, Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga and Teja Sajja’s Hanu Man are in the Sankranthi 2024 race. All the deals for Guntur Kaaram and Saindhav are closed recently and the promotional plans for these projects are on. The non-theatrical deals of Ravi Teja’s Eagle and Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga are yet to be closed and the makers are puzzled about the release dates. If the non-theatrical deals are not closed, it would be a huge burden on the makers and closing these deals post-theatrical release would be a tough task.
With a number of releases around, the theatrical deals for Eagle and Naa Saami Ranga would not be high. Nagarjuna’s recent films ended up as duds and his theatrical market shrinked badly. Ravi Teja’s theatrical market is not consistent and it purely depends on the buzz that surrounds the film. As per the update, Eagle is aimed for Republic Day weekend release and the team is in a hurry to close the non-theatrical deals. Naa Saami Ranga team kick-started the promotions for now but the film’s Sankranthi release is unlikely. Hanu Man will avoid a clash with Guntur Kaaram and the reports say that the film will be preponed by a day.
