The AP High Court held a hearing on the Jagan knife attack case in Hyderabad. The court asked the Central government’s advocate to find out whether an injured Jaganmohan Reddy could be allowed to travel in the flight on that day. The Judge asked the advocate appearing for Jagan as to why the victim had preferred to continue his onward journey rather than staying back in Visakhapatnam to give his statement to the local police.
The Jagan’s advocate informed the court that they had no trust in the Andhra police which was why Jagan came to Hyderabad. He pleaded for ordering an investigation by an agency other than the AP police for facilitating an unbiased investigation in the attempt to murder case.
Meanwhile, the AP state advocate general informed the Judge that Jaganmohan Reddy was not cooperating with the AP police and he had not given his statement despite repeated efforts by the AP investigating officials. The court asked the advocate general to submit in a sealed cover the investigation carried out till now in the sensational case.
From the beginning, Jagan has been maintaining that there was a conspiracy hatched by the ruling party to murder him so as to eliminate opposition in the state.
