The Delhi tour of Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy was cancelled at the last minute today. Their original plan to go jointly to Modi’s swearing-in couldn’t be carried out. This was because the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) cancelled the permission to the landing of the special flight of KCR-Jagan in Delhi.
As a result, Governor ESL Narasimhan and DMK leader Stalin couldn’t also go to PM swearing-in. They were to accompany KCR-Jagan in the same aircraft.
In fact, KCR arrived in the Andhra capital with specific plans to stay here till afternoon and go to Delhi jointly with other leaders. The specific reasons for the denial of permission to KCR flight were not immediately known. Maybe, too many world leaders are coming for swearing-in which resulted in lot of air traffic over Delhi. The leaders of BIMSTEC countries are arriving at Modi’s invitation.
