Nithiin, who belongs to the Reddy community, had to face the music from his own caste members over some scenes in the movie ‘A..Aa‘. The film has some comedy scenes featuring Shakalaka Shankar and he is referred to as Prathap Reddy in the movie. Shankar is portrayed as a thief.
The ‘Reddy Jana Sangham’ raised an objection and complained to the relevant authorities as well as to Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy. The issue was communicated to the team and the Reddy names have been cut from the movie.
While the movie unit tried to reason with the Reddy Jana Sangham, there were in no mood to listen. Hence, the team had no choice but to go in for a cut.
