The efforts being made by TDP chief and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu are getting broader support from different parties all over the country. One more party has added to the list of supporters now. It is reliably learnt that CBN has spoken to Biju Janata Dal leader and Orissa CM Navin Patnaik about the anti-BJP front at the national level. Navin is stated to have responded positively to the idea.
Navin is also expected to attend the anti-BJP massive rally to be conducted by West Bengal CM Mamata Bennerjee in Kolkata in January. With this, the total number of political parties favouring CBN’s alternative front has gone up to 18. BJP’s dictatorial and communal policies are working against it in the context of coming together of rival parties. TDP leaders see this as a welcome development and they are confident of full cooperation among the parties in anti-BJP camp.
CBN has been on the warpath against the BJP in the aftermath of the Central government forcing the agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Income Tax Department, etc to harass political opponents. CBN’s diplomacy has drawn widespread support as he has appealed for setting aside regional differences and work with unity to counter the Modi-Amit Shah duo. The TDP leaders are upbeat that there has been a good response to Sonia Gandhi’s visit and the Mahakutami’s prospects have got a boost in Telangana election. After the end of these elections to five states, CBN is going to step up activities on anti-Modi front once again.
