There has been a major reshuffle in the release dates among the Sankranthi releases. Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Balakrishna’s film, Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vastunnam and Sundeep Kishan’s Majaka are the films that will release during the Sankranthi season. There has been a discussion across the Tollywood circles about the release of Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Thandel. Speculations say that the film will miss the Christmas release which was planned earlier. Speculations also say that the film may release during Christmas or the Republic day weekend.

The film’s director Chandoo Mondeti issued a clarification. He said “We have ten days of shoot left. The film will not be technically ready for Christmas as we planned earlier. Thandel will be ready for Sankranthi release. But if Allu Aravind garu thinks about Ram Charan’s Game Changer and if Naga Chaitanya thinks about Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vastunnam, our film will get pushed. The film will release soon”. As of now, there is no clarity on the release date. Thandel is the costliest attempt made in Naga Chaitanya’s career. Sai Pallavi is the leading lady and GA2 Pictures are the producers.
