All set for Chadra Babu’s face to face with Modi next week. Chandra Babu will meet Modi in New Delhi on June 16 on the occasion of fourth meeting of the Niti Aayog’s Governing Council.
The NITI Aayog is a policy think tank of the Government of India and the Council chaired by the Prime Minister. It includes all chief ministers and also the members of the government think tank. The meeting will discuss the 75 years of Independent India. However, there have been objections by several CMs on terms of reference of Niti Aayog. AP has been criticizing center on various issues. Mamata Banerjee decided to skip Niti Aayog meeting as she does not gel with Modi. However, Chandra Babu Naidu has decided to attend this meeting. So he will be facing Modi for the first time after TDP came out of NDA alliance.
CBN expected to raise objections of various CMs on Niti Aayog and it is expected these non-BJP CMs to support Chandra Babu. Also, as 16th June is Ramzan festival date, Mamta and some others criticize center for choosing that date for this meeting.
