The AP Police forcibly took away the caravan bus belonging to TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu. The bus was intended to be used for the Chalo Atmakur protest in Palnadu region. Naidu was subsequently put under house arrest amid huge protests by TDP leaders. At that time, the AP Police took hold of the caravan bus. They made everybody except bus driver to leave the vehicle. Then they drove it to the Telangana border and left it at a lone place between Narkatpally and Addanki highway.
The driver was allowed to keep the vehicle engine keys only while all other keys of doors were taken away by the AP Police. Shocked and surprised at this, the caravan driver called up the NTR Trust Office. It is not yet clear why the police did not return the vehicle to the Chandrababu residence in Amaravati.
The TDP leaders say that this is a deliberate attempt on the part of the YCP government to further create troubles for the opposition party. All the tensions are over with regard to Chalo Atmakur. The problems of Palnadu victims are also being solved. But still, YCP Regime and AP Police are continuing their gimmicks to embarrass Chandrababu out of frustration over failure of their Palnadu strategy. TDP says it will continue its fight despite all such problems from YCP.
