Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu decided to form a dedicated Society to successfully implement ‘P4 – Zero Poverty’ initiative. The proposed body will have Chief Minister as its chairman.
‘P4 – Zero Poverty’ is an innovative initiative thought by veteran leader Chandrababu Naidu. Through the initiative, Chandrababu is trying to motivate rich and successful people to adopt poor families and ensuring the empowerment of the families at the bottom of pyramid.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has launched ‘P4-Zero Poverty’ program on Ugadi 2025 and has been enthusiastically promoting it in various forums.
Besides forming a Society, a proper administrative system will be set up from state to village level to successfully implement P4 initiative. Senior officials will serve as CEO and top administrators in the society.
CM Chandrababu held a special meeting on P4 initiative on Tuesday. In the meeting he stressed that Ministers, MLAs and Collectors should focus on identifying philanthropists who can come forward and adopt and support poor families. These philanthropists will be called as Margadarsis. Chandrababu is aiming to bring about 5 lakh families under ‘P4 – Zero Poverty’ initiative by Aug 15, 2025.
