Prominent leaders of Andhra Pradesh including TDP’s Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP’s Jagan Mohan Reddy and Congress’ Raghuveera Reddy hit the roads of Kakinada to campaign ahead of municipal elections on Monday. On the last day of the Kakinada Municipal elections, the campaign is on full swing in the city.
Chief Minister Chandrababu who participated in roadshows on Saturday, met leaders of various communities and people on Sunday. On this occasion, he took feedback on the schemes implemented by the government.
Opposition leader Jagan said that within a year elections will take place and YSRCP will get elected unanimously. Following his extensive campaign in Nandyal, the YSRCP supremo fell sick, so he is participating only on the last day of the campaign. He criticised Chandrababu for failing to construct even one home in the last three years. He said that the CM owes each family Rs.79000.
APCC chief Raghuveera Reddy who is also campaigning in Kakinada said that Chandrababu, KCR, Jagan were all once Congress leaders and that they did not need to worry about Jagan. He termed the ruling TDP and the opposition YSRCP as “money” parties.
