AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee have vowed to continue their fight against the Modi government at the national level. They accused the BJP of using the Central Bureau of Investigation to blackmail leaders of rival parties. Mamata said the modes operandi of the Modi government is to get CBI and IT cases filed against leaders of opposition parties and then cancel those cases if those leaders agree to support the BJP directly or indirectly.
Naidu met Mamata in Kolkata on the occasion of her withdrawing her protest against the Centre. They said the Supreme Court order on the CBI-Bengal police differences was a moral victory to all the anti-BJP parties in the country. Mamata said PM Modi should resign and go back to his home state of Gujarat as he cannot go on holding all the power in his own fists. Modi is trying to misuse central institutions as per his whims and fancies which will not be possible any more. The Opposition parties have successfully revolted against the Modi government’s plans.
It was decided to take the fight to Delhi where a protest meeting by non-BJP Chief Ministers will be held on February 12. Chandrababu Naidu said the BJP’s evil plans were thoroughly exposed and Mamata party will win all the MP seats in WB in coming election.
