Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh chief minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu has turned keen on defections ahead of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state. Naidu met and discussed with the leaders, those who’re reportedly looking to YSRCP.
TDP has adopted a new strategy to keep the party cadres united and committed for the party’s victory in the forthcoming elections. As part of this, Naidu is directly interacting with the party cadres to read the pulse of party-men on ground level. Naidu is reviewing the field-level situation Lok Sabha constituency wise and taking the feedback from the party cadres. Generally, Naidu used to meet with MLAs and in-charge ministers constitution wise, but this time, he had meetings with polling booth area coordinators as well.
TDP has appointed a coordinator for every 10 polling booths. Naidu is in the process of strengthening and streamlining party cadres from polling booth level to Mandal, Assembly, Lok Sabha constituency, district and state levels accordingly.
Naidu is keen to know the opinions of polling booth level coordinators about the potential candidates in Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies. This exercise enables the party high-command to take remedial measures to establish harmony and enable coordination among the party leaders, cadres to work for the party victory.
