The main opposition party in Andhra Pradesh is protesting against the TDP government for not been successful in getting special status to the state even though they are an allied party of NDA. The chief of YSRCP YS Jaganmohan Reddy sat on indefinite hunger strike on October 07 demanding that the state government should withdraw its support to NDA so that the Union government will come out with the special category status to state.
Reacting to this demand of Jagan, Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that there will not be any other foolishness decision like withdrawing support to NDA. The CM who spoke to media persons on Saturday also alleged that Jaganmohan Reddy’s demand that TDP should withdraw support to NDA government is only for his own political and personal gains.
“We are not supporting the centre for our personal gains but for the benefit of AP people. It will be a foolish decision to withdraw support for NDA,” Babu said. He also added that YSRCP chief is waiting for an opportunity to join hands with NDA so that he can be benefited in his cases. Modi government has been helping the state in all possible ways and has already allocated funds for the state for various projects like Polavaram and for the construction of new state, Babu clarified.
Let us wait and see what will be Jagan’s reaction on these comments of AP CM.
