Two days after two ministers announced truce between warring groups of Guntur Zilla Parishad Chairperson Shaik Jani Moon and district minister Ravela Kishore Babu, the three-member committee constituted by the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu today visited Guntur and started its proceedings.
After a truce between them was claimed after an informal counselling between them, Chief Minister said to be refuse to believe their claims. According to party sources, yesterday he said that it was an eye-wash and asked why the three member-committee didn’t start its exercise.
The member committee constituted with Home Minister Chinna Rajappa, former minister Gorantla Butchaiah Choudary and Guntur district TDP president GV Anjaneyulu. It may be recalled that Jani Moon earlier alleged that she was having threat from the minister Kishore Babu and also the minister’s supporters threatened her family members on Ramzan day.
It seems that the committee restrained from commencing its work as ministers Prathipati Pullarao and P Raghunadha Reddy accompanied by Anjaneyulu held discussions with both of them on Sunday. After counselling they declared that the disputes between them were a `closed chapter’. Even both of them announced they would work together hereafter.
However, Chief Minister seems to be not trusted their statements and sought the committee’s detailed report on the issues led to such severe ruptures between them. Today the committee members held discussions with both of them and likely to discuss with Chief Minister in a day or two.
