AP CM and TDP National President N Chandrababu Naidu is busy bringing pressure on the rival BJP leadership a day after the polling in Telangana. Encouraged by positive exit polls some of this are in favour of People’s Front, Naidu has begun on his grand plan for December 10 when he wants to put up a great show of strength with almost all anti-BJP national and regional leaders and chief ministers from all over the country.
After getting a positive feel about the poll trends in five states, CBN has exuded confidence there was a wave building up in support of the anti-BJP parties in different states. There are also encouraging reports for People’s Front allies mainly the Congress in Rajasthan. To keep up this momentum, CBN is going to convince and ensure presence of maximum number of anti-BJP leaders and chief ministers in December 10 Delhi meeting.
There is no fixed agenda for this meeting but it is expected to create a big impact during this time of elections in five states.
TDP sources say all of Naidu’s organising skills are being put to use in the present effort for the Delhi-based political strategy making considering the challenge lying ahead to counter the Modi-Amit Shah duo at the national. Unlike before, when Naidu met a few leaders and addressed national media, this time he wants to make his Delhi meeting a grand show that would set the tone for future alliance of anti-BJP parties.
This time, the long line of leaders likely to attend CBN meeting are Former PM Deve Gowda, West Bengal CM Mamata Bennerjee, Delhi CM Arvind Kesjriwal, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejaswi Yadav, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, Bahujan Samaj Party leader Mayawati, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and also Congress CMs from different states.
