TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu remained in Delhi today and he is continuing his relentless efforts to stop BJP from taking any pre-counting advantage out of differences among opposition parties. He met Rahul Gandhi and discussed the need for a pre-results get-together of anti-BJP leaders. Naidu is meeting Rahul and Mayawati once again separately today itself. This will happen most probably after the exit polls at 6 pm today.
Naidu has already convinced Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav to maintain their anti-BJP stance after the May 23 results regardless of the number of MP seats won by respective opposition parties. Naidu has told them to get ready for any kind of government formation by non-NDA parties depending on the number of seats they win. If the Congress wins above 140 seats, it will have the chance to take leadership position for opposition alliance.
