The Telugu Desam Party leaders are intensifying their attack on Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam. Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao has rejected the argument that the Chief Secretary has powers to bypass the TDP Cabinet decisions. The government has powers over the administration till the expiry of its elected 5 years term. Obviously, the Chief Secretary is acting like an extra constitutional authority in AP, says Pulla Rao.
The very appointment of LV Subrahmanyam was part of the larger conspiracy by the YCP and the Modi government to cripple the democratically elected government of Chandrababu Naidu. The Minister said that the Chief Secretary is acting on the instructions of the biased Election Commission only to support the cause of Jaganmohan Reddy. This is clear from the fact that they were immediately taking action on all the complaints made by Jaganmohan Reddy and Vijayasai Reddy, both of whom were prime accused in CBI illegal assets cases.
Pulla Rao asserted that the common people and beneficiaries of welfare programmes have voted for TDP which came as a big shock for both Jaganmohan Reddy and PM Modi. The TDP victory is unstoppable and the YCP will meet with a more humiliating defeat than before.
