Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film Khaidi No 150 might have emerged as one of the all time top grossing films down South, but the film’s satellite deal couldn’t fetch a record breaking price. The satellite rights of Khaidi No 150 have been snapped by Maa TV for a whopping 12 Crore deal, which is just short of Pawan’s Katamarayudu.
Earlier today, it was reported that the satellite rights of Katamarayudu have been bagged by Gemini TV for 12.5 Crores. Despite his last film Sardar turning out to be a huge disaster, the craze for Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu among trade circles and TV channels didn’t scale down. Though Chiranjeevi made a solid comeback with Khaidi No 150, he couldn’t beat Pawan Kalyan when it comes to the price of satellite rights.
Katamarayudu is doing a phenomenal pre release business in all areas of Telugu states. The film is slated for Ugadhi release.
