Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is currently shooting for Telugu action-drama “Khaidi No 150”, will next team up with producer Allu Aravind for a yet-untitled project under the Geetha Arts banner.
“In principle, it has been confirmed that Chiranjeevi’s next film will be bankrolled by Geetha Arts. They haven’t locked a script yet and are currently in the process of finalizing. The names of many directors are being associated with this project, but the truth is nobody yet has been confirmed,” a source close to Chiranjeevi told IANS.
Currently busy shooting for his 150th film, it comes as a surprise that the 61-year old star has plans to do another film.
“He never said he’ll stop acting after his 150th film. However, he’s particular about the project he takes up from here on, and hence, will take things slowly and won’t sign films in a hurry,” the source said.
“Khaidi No 150”, a remake of Tamil blockbuster “Kaththi”, is being directed by V.V Vinayak.
Before this project took off, Chiranjeevi was supposed to work on a film with director Puri Jagannadh, and it got shelved for various reasons.
Asked if there are chances for the project’s revival, the source said it’s too early to comment.
