After making a striking comeback with Khaidi No 150, Megastar Chiranjeevi has made it clear that he is eager to do more films in his second innings. He has a strong lineup and the immediate next will be a period drama which narrates the glory of unsung freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who hails from Andhra soil.
To be directed by Surrender Reddy, the project will be made on a grand scale with a star studded cast and eclectic crew. The official logo will be unveiled on the 22nd of this month on the eve of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday. It has been widely speculated that the film will be titled eponymously Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, but it is learnt that the makers are considering Mahavira as the alternate title to gain pan India appeal.
The suspense will be revealed on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. Amithab Bachchan is likely to play an important role in the film.
