Renowned multiplex chain Cinepolis is gearing up to invest about 400 Crores into the Indian market. The chain has confirmed that about 160 new screens will be added in 60 cities across the country and some of them will come up in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vizag.
Apart from the Cinepolis brand, the chain is also going to propagate the Fun Cinemas brand in tier two cities. Ever since it came up in Kukatpally, Cinepolis has built up a loyal fan following among movie lovers in Hyderabad.
With the advent of multiplex screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, producers are a very happy lot as the revenue share from multiplexes is much higher when compared to single screens.
