Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has called for a 100% improvement in the services and facilities provided by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). During a review meeting at the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat on TTD affairs, the CM emphasized that quality services in Tirumala would reflect positively on the government’s reputation.
Nara Chandrababu Naidu instructed officials not to spend money unnecessarily in the name of development projects and stressed that not even a single rupee of Lord Venkateswara’s funds should be misused. He directed officials to reshape TTD to meet the needs of the next 50 years.
Chandrababu Naidu suggested collecting feedback from devotees on every service provided by TTD and recommended offering services through WhatsApp for better accessibility. During the meeting, TTD officials gave a presentation on measures taken in the past nine months to improve facilities for pilgrims.
The officials briefed about changes implemented in Srivari laddu prasadam and annaprasadam. They also reported on arrangements made during special occasions like Brahmotsavalu, Ratha Saptami, and Vaikuntha Ekadashi regarding darshan facilities and accommodation.
The Andhra Chief Minister ordered a complete overhaul of the system, instructing that “old habits and old people” should not continue. He specifically directed officials not to retain previous staff under the guise of being “experienced professionals.”
