CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu has expressed strong dissatisfaction with Tiruvuru MLA Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao’s controversial conduct. During a recent meeting, the CM questioned why problems constantly emerge only in Tiruvuru constituency. He emphasized that party workers’ sentiments must be respected by all leaders.
The leadership is considering either appointing a new in-charge or forming a coordination committee to prevent recurring disputes in the constituency. Party members from Tiruvuru arrived in large numbers at the TDP central office, NTR Bhavan, protesting against the MLA with slogans like “We don’t want Kolikapudi.”
Party State President Palla Srinivasa Rao tried to pacify the protesters who complained that the MLA maintains good relations with YSRCP leaders while neglecting TDP workers. They alleged he speaks abusively, creates caste divisions, and publicly insults local leaders who have served the party for years.
The workers demanded either a new in-charge be appointed or a coordination committee be formed. Palla Srinivasa Rao assured them he would bring their concerns to CM Chandrababu and Minister Nara Lokesh’s attention. Former AMC Chairman Alavala Ramesh Reddy also offered explanations regarding an incident involving inappropriate phone conversations with a tribal woman.
Palla highlighted that party workers are the backbone of TDP’s electoral success, and their feelings must be respected rather than using them only during elections and ignoring them afterward.
