BJP Andhra Pradesh President Kanna Lakshminarayana strongly opposed AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s proposal for 3 Capital Cities for the state. He asserted that the BJP would not accept any separation of seat of administration from the seat of legislature under any circumstances. Kanna said that it would be sheer mad thinking to set up Legislative Assembly in one place and Secretariat at another place. Such a policy would badly damage the overall interests of the state. In just six months, CM Jagan Reddy has lost total control over administration. Kanna said that because of Jagan Reddy’s inexperience and greed, AP is going backwards in all respects by over 20 years.
Kanna Lakshminarayana appealed to the people to give ‘One Chance’ to the BJP next time for better rule. Both the regional parties – TDP and YCP – have failed miserably. Kanna said that both Chandrababu and Jagan have failed to protect the interests of AP people. If the state is to have development and peaceful living of people, only a national party like BJP should be brought to power. Kanna also asserted that the BJP would not sit silently if Jagan Reddy shifts the administrative capital from out of Amaravati. Assembly and Secretariat should continue in Amaravati only.
