Upon arrival in Singapore chief minister Chandrababu Naidu settled down for business. He began his Sunday evening with an interactive program with executives of Medini Iskandar Malaysia. Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) is floated by Malaysian federal government to develop a unique corridor to attract global investments. The objective of IRDA, regulating and driving various stakeholders in both public and private sector towards realizing the vision of developing Iskandar Malaysia into a strong and sustainable metropolis of international standing, reflects the spirit of CRDA. Iskandar Malaysia is a development corridor in Johor, Malaysia. The area is being developed by Medini Iskandar Malaysia, a company that is 60 percent owned by Iskandar Investment, Japanese conglomerate Mitsui & Co Ltd and Dubai-based realtor United World Infrastructure each own 20 percent.
The company gave a presentation of its activities in Malaysia and other places.The company shared its experience in the development of growth corridor with chief minister Naidu and his team in Hotel Shangri-La in Singapore.The company has evinced interest in participating the development of Capital region of Amaravati. Naidu, who is on a three-day tour in Singapore will hold discussions with Singapore government on selecting the master developer for the capital construction project.
