Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao is happily running his government and doing review meetings. The Election Commission selectively targets the TDP government.
TDP Rajya Sabha MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar took strong objection to the opposition YSR Congress Party’s complaints and the Election Commission’s actions against CM Chandrababu Naidu on his reviews on the state’s developmental activities. The Chief Minister’s reviews would not come under the election code as they did not involve the formulation of any new schemes nor there were decisions involving huge funds.
Mr. Ravindra Kumar said that there were pressing issues like the drinking water problem in rural areas and also the need for ensuring a fair deal to farmers in minimum price to crops and so on. These issues would not amount to a violation of the code and the EC should have no objection to this.
APSRTC Chairman Varla Ramaiah deplored that he had never seen this kind of the worst Election Commission before and all its actions were biased in favor of the YCP. This was obviously a direct outcome of the secret understanding between Jaganmohan Reddy and PM Modi.
