The cold war of words between ruling TRS leaders and former comrade-in arm of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao during Telangana statehood moving Prof Kodandaram getting momentum, as both sides not showing any restraint.
In a latest tirade against the Telangana Political JAC (TJAC), TRS MP Balka Suman accused that Prof Kodandaram was deliberately criticizing the TRS regime at the behest of the opposition leaders. He recalled that it was TRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao who made the professor the chief of political TJAC during Telangana statehood movement.
The Peddapally MP, who was a student leader during Telangana struggle, found fault with the professor’s statement that Telangana achieved statehood only due to student’s struggle saying that TRS chief had relentless struggles for the statehood movement. “It was KCR who encouraged numerous students to lead the statehood movement. KCR made many student leader and I Am one among them,” he asserted. .
Suman also came down heavily on TDP leader A. Revanth Reddy saying that he had no moral right to criticize the TRS ministers. He questioned the TDP MLA as to what development he has done to the constituency he is representing in the Assembly.
Continuing his counter-attacks on the working of KCR government, Prof Kodandaram earlier slammed the State Government saying that it took up the reorganization of districts in an unscientific method. The TJAC chief deplored that the State Government did not take into accounts people’s demands and aspiration while taking up the exercise.
He said that the people of the state are unhappy with the state government saying that it was function against the wishes of the people. He deplored that the people had high hopes on this government but it was working for vested interests of corporates.
