Tollywood comedian Venu Madhav is all set to enter into electoral battle. He will be contesting the upcoming Telangana assembly elections from Kodad constituency. He has been staunch supporter of TDP and Chandra Babu Naidu but he is not contesting from TDP but he is as an independent candidate
Venu Madhav started his career as a mimicry artist and director SV Krishna Reddy encouraged him into Telugu films. Later he became top comedian and he also used his mimicry talent to campaing for political parties during elections. He supported TDP right from beginning. Even during Nandyal Bypolls, he campaigned for TDP and made sharp comments on Jagan during campaigning.
He acted with almost all top stars. But now his film career came to an end and it seems he wants to be a full time politician. He did his education in Kodad, which happens to be his hometown. Venu Madhav had earlier said that he entered politics to do service to the people of Kodad constituency.
