Jagtial MLA Sanjay complained to Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar on Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy on Monday. As brawl broke out between the MLAs at District Review meeting at Collectorate in Karimnagar, Sanjay complained to Speaker that, Kaushik Reddy had obstructed him while speaking and even got into a fight.
Speaker Gaddam Prasad has assured Sanjay that he will inquire about the incident and take further action.
The scuffle between Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy and Jagtial MLA Sanjay Kumar, heated up Telangana politics, with both Congress and BRS leaders attacking each other over the controversial incident.
The reason for Kaushik Reddy-Jagtial Sanjay’s fight, was defection of Sanjay from BRS to Congress. Kaushik Reddy took the District Review Meeting to raise protest over Sanjay’s immoral defection from BRS to ruling Congress.
Interestingly the fight between Kaushik Reddy and Sanjay took place in front of Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and D Sridhar Babu.
Besides complaint to Speaker, three cases were also booked on Padi Kaushik Reddy in Karimnagar in the same issue.
