The Telangana Congress legislature party, which met in Hyderabad today to formulate their strategy for the forthcoming winter session of the Telangana assembly, begins tomorrow, has differed on the proposal to move no-confidence motion against the two and half years-old K Chandrashekar Rao government. When few members makes this suggestion, most of others refused as that would be advantageous to the ruling party to hijack most of the house time.
As the speaker will allocate time for debate on the bases of strength of each party in the house, senior leaders cautioned that “if three or four Congress members speaks, ruling party may field about 50 members to attack the opposition.”
So, the meeting has decided to rise people’s problems and failures of the government in implementing its election promises to maximum extent in the house. Leader of opposition K Jana Reddy and Pradesh Congress President N Uttam Kumar Reddy advised them not to be provoked even the ruling party tries their best, but focus on raising various issues.
Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam Party legislature party also decided to highlight government’s failures in the house. Legislature party leader A Revanth Reddy meeting the speaker S. Madhusudhana Chary urged to allocate time for them treating their strength in the house is 15 members.
It may be recalled that 12 of them had defected into TRS and one of them even in the cabinet for the last two years. As the issue of defection is before the examination of courts, Reddy pleaded them to consider as `TDP members’ technically. As daily speaker normally allows 10 questions during question hour, Rvanth Reddy sought atleast one of question should be from TDP members.
BJP legislature party leader G Kishan Reddy said he has submitted a list of 23 items to the Speaker to take up in the assembly.
