YSRCP chief and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been proving himself time and again that he is a ‘copycat’ and lacks fresh ideas of his own to develop Andhra Pradesh.
Almost all the schemes or initiatives being launched by Jagan after he became CM were either copied from previous TDP government or neighbouring TRS government in Telangana.
The only thing Jagan does is he simply changed the names of schemes but the purpose of his schemes remain the same.
Jagan copied even name of KCR’s scheme “Kanti Velugu” and implementing the same in AP to provide free eye checkups to people.
The latest to be copied by Jagan is “Connect to Andhra” initiative.
This initiative was launched by TDP chief and former CM N Chandrababu Naidu, which was named as “Smart AP Foundation”. This is aimed to mobilse funds from philanthropists and from corporate companies under CSR (corporate social responsibility) and utilise them for the development of state, since AP’s financial condition is bad after bifurcation of state.
Jagan has now quietly changed this name to “Connect to Andhra”, with an aim to mobilise Rs 1,000 crore and utilise the same to implement “Navaratnalu”.
How over-ambitious Jagan is can be assessed with his targets?
Just about Rs 85 crore was donated by companies and others in 2018-19 when it was launched by TDP.
Jagan now boasts of mobilising Rs 1,000 crore per year, which everyone knows that it is next to impossible and this scheme too will get faded away very soon like other tall claims of Jaga
