The City Civil Court reprimanded Endowments, Environment and Forests Minister Konda Surekha on Friday. Hearing on the defamation suit filed by BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Konda Surekha, over her comments, Judge directed Konda Surekha not to make such comments in the future.

Konda Surekha had made outright derogatory and controversial comments on KTR linking him in an abusive way with film industry personalities. Her comments had attracted widespread rage from all sections, giving way to a debate over the decency and decorum in the public life.

Hearing on defamation suit, Court found the comments objectionable and directed the senior Minister not to repeat such offensive and abusive behavior in the future.

Besides reprimanding Konda Surekha, Court also ordered all the media outlets, youtube channels and social media handles to delete the derogatory remarks made by Konda Surekha.

Besides KTR, film star Akkineni Nagarjuna has also filed a defamation suit case against Konda Surekha in the same incident.
