A capacity of 2,000, but 5,000 passes printed. A huge fan base with several eager fans wishing to get their hands on the passes to see their favourite matinee idol talk on the big stage after a very long time. Well, all this is just an intro to the audio launch of NTR’s much awaited flick Janatha Garage which is gearing up for a grand release on September 2nd, to mark the long weekend with Vinayaka Chavithi falling on September 5th.

The film’s PR machinery have been battling tooth and nail to ensure the event goes off peacefully. The venue of the event, Shilpakala Vedika, has a capacity of around 2,000 people, which in itself is a very huge number. But a source tells us that over 5,000 passes have been distributed and this excludes the VIP and media personnel! Other than that, the anticipation around the film and of course the stardom around NTR will have at least 1,000 to 1,500 more people waiting it out at the venue in the hope of getting “at least one” pass.

Crowds have slowly started to gather at the venue already and insiders say that anyone who comes post 6pm will find it very difficult to make an entry.

The track list of Janatha Garage’s album was released yesterday and ever since, the buzz surrounding the event has intensified. With star singers like Raghu Dixit, Neha Bhasin and Shankar Mahadevan set to join Devi Sri Prasad, NTR, Samantha and Nithya Menen at the venue, this is going to be one hell of an audio launch.

Here’s caution to everyone attending the event. Be careful! And take care of your belongings. It’s not a bad idea to watch the event at home, too.
