The Sadavarti Satram Land auctioning case has got all the twists and turns despite TDP government holding on tight to let it go off. In a latest development, Satyanarayana Reddy who bid the highest amount of Rs 60.30 crore, refuted taking the ownership of the lands fearing legal problems.
Realtor Satyanarayana who had to deposit half the bid amount within 48 hours of the auctioning process, decided not to take the land following the accusations against him by YSRCP leaders. He expressed concern over the allegations that there is involvement of Minister Adinarayana Reddy and that they had relationship with TDP. Satyanarayana said that even after paying the bidding amount, YSRCP leaders may create legal hurdles and not let them take over the land.
Minister Manikayala Rao responding to the incident said that they would approach the court regarding the auctioning and explain the situation. Since the highest bidder has withdrawn, Endowments commissioner Anuradha said that next highest bidder is being given a chance who has to pay half of Rs 60.25 crores within 48hours. However, following the after math of the incident it would be interesting if the next bidder will be able to secure the land.
