After a classic like Manam, Akkineni family received wide applause for the multi-starrer carved out by Vikram Kumar. It was right from then Mega family, Nandamuri heroes and Daggubati duo wanted to do a multi-starrer that would thrill the audience. The most talked was the Daggubati multi-starrer which would feature Victory Venkatesh and Rana in the lead roles. Suresh Babu personally supervised the script and couple of interesting plots have been locked. After working on them for months, the films have been shelved completely.
Recently Ravikanth Perepu who directed Kshanam has been brought on board for the multi-starrer. However an inside source revelaed that the young director impressed Rana with a thriller which is currently busy with the pre-production work. The plans of Daggubati multi-starrer have been kept on hold as of now and the family will think of it if they come across an impressive script. Rana signed couple of films which will keep him busy till the end of 2017. However Venky has been listening to scripts and will wrap up the shoot of Guru soon.
